    Hi karma~~~

I'm new here....been reading your blog....(lol..I can't remember my meds either, so I relate to your July 2nd post). I'm supposed to be on Paxil for depression, which I HATE, and am not good about taking.....supposed to be on Ritalin, too, for ADHD...I have a feeling if I filled that one, I'd have NO PROBLEMS remembering to take it...remembering to take it all in 2 days, that is...lol.
Anyhow, just wanted to say hi and that I hope you get your book published!!
    Take care,

    Jokersgirl

Hi, I'm Kelli and I'm a recovering addict. I read the portions of chapter 1 of you book on your blog. I'm hooked......I want to read more. I can so relate to the strip search and the feeling you have when that is happening to you. I went thru the same thing September 2005. I have been clean since January 2007. Best of luck on your book you can bet I will be looking for it.

Kelli, hello! Thank you so much for getting in touch with me. You have no idea what it means to me to know that someone out there likes what I'm doing. I'll be posting the final part of chapter 1 later this week.

I want to get this book published, but the market for memoir is so hard right now. I'd like to develop a following for my blog which I'm soon turning into a web site. I would love to hear your thoughts about this, suggestions, etc. I would also really appreciate it if you would officially follow my blog. (If you're not familiar with what that is, it's in the top right hand corner of the next 24.) The more support I can get, the better my chances at getting published.

I'm also going to have a page on the web site about my speaking engagements. So far I've only spoken to the women's group where I did rehab. I'd like to expand that to schools, other rehabs, groups..etc. Any advice would be appreciated.

Congratulations on your sobriety! As one sister to another, I know how hard it is. Good for us:) Thank you again for contacting me. It's nice to know I'm not alone out here in cyber space.
